The Algarve has some excellent lively tourist resorts on the south coast of Portugal. The most popular University sports tour destination is Albufeira which will rival any Greek party island for nightlife, beaches and activities. Faro is the main airport to fly into and can be used as a tour destination as it's the main city of the Algarve. Albufeira is a small town overlooking a great beach. It is everything you would expect from a tourist resort where the British have flocked for years. A strip of bars, pubs and clubs lead the way down to the beach and are open through the night filled with English revellers and locals.

If you'd prefer a quieter resort where you can relax rather than just party then Lagos or Vilamoura are ideal destinations and still have plenty of nightlife as well as some brilliant golf courses and activities. Wherever you are in the Algarve you're never more than 2 miles from a top class golf course and we can help you arrange group tee times if you want a round. Rugby is played to a social and average standard in the Algarve with Loule RC providing the opposition. Football is more widespread and there are mens and womens who are willing to play our touring University teams from the UK.
